Naps messing with your commuting?

So this story isn't quite my story -- it's my father's. Therefore it's fair for me to share :)

So my dad works in Linden, NJ. It's about a 40 min drive w/o traffic, but in rush hour it's about an hour's drive. So to go green-er, my dad carpools with a co-worker. The co-worker lives a bit further than we do, so every morning at 7am, he drives over to our house. Sometimes he just picks up my dad; other times he leaves his car at our house and my dad drives. Since they work in a normal corporate place, they leave around 4pm and get home by 5pm -- which is pretty early. It's nice b/c then my dad has plenty of time to mow the lawn, get dinner cooked and eaten before finishing up work in the late night hours.

Anyhow---------------

My dad picks up his phone later and sees that there's a missed call from his co-worker. He listens to the message and it goes something like this:

"Hi, I'm so sorry -- I must have over slept my alarm clock. It's 7:30 and I just woke up. I won't be able to carpool with you tonight but I will make it up to you sometime. Let's still carpool tomorrow, I'll drive. I'm just so sorry I don't know how I overslept my alarm."

Later, my dad gets a phone call and it's from the co-worker. The co-worker goes:
"Omg, I'm so sorry about that message. I took a nap after I got home and totally didn't realize that it was 7:30 PM!!! I saw light outside and saw that my clock said 7:30 and assumed that it was 7:30AM instead of PM! I'm so embarrassed -- we should still carpool tomorrow."
