Sad Shit

Today's been one of my longest and busiest days at work. But I won't complain. I have it better than many of my former classmates who have either lost jobs or are endanger of losing their jobs. This is perhaps the worst position to be in. Worse than having not found a job after graduation. Worse than the '09 kids who will have a hard time finding jobs. These kids are losing their jobs after they have paid for year-leases and contracts. These kids had a difficult few months of 100hr weeks that were all for... nothing?

My heart goes out to you. And I too am horrified by the f-ing tourists there to gawk.
