O how I miss thee

It's been a while since I posted... But it's also been a while since I've been on NJ Transit. But Im on it today!

Right now Im heading back to Jersey City from Bridgewater on the train. Across the aisle are two complete Jersey princesses complete with massive sunglasses and studded everything. As they're walking on, I notice the two of them completely making fun of the people on the other side of the train. Sad.

As they sit down, they realize one of them doesn't have their ticket and can't get home. They try to talk to the conductor. Apparently they're 16 years old, snuck out of the house last night to party somewhere else. Don't have a credit card. Don't have cash to buy another ticket. Cant call home because they werent supposed to go out. And being incredibly rude to the conductor.

1.) how old do you have to be to learn to flirt and not curse at the person who need a favor from?

2.) how old do you have to be to learn to always have an extra $20 on you?

Are these you learn as you grow up? Or are these things you inherently know?
