Tour de Somerville

My parents have lived in new jersey for 8 yrs now. I usually try not to associate with many of the jersey stereotypes. But every now and then, there's something about jersey that I love and participate in. Memorial day weekends I love spending home.

Saturday was the annual Szabo sut out: a Hungarian BBQ complete with pig fat over an open fire to make greasy sandwiches. But of course that's only 1 of the 10 courses consumed over 24 hours:
1.) 12pm - lunch with pig fat
2.) 1pm - salad courses
3.) 2pm - desserts
4.) 4pm - appetizers
5.) 5pm - crabs
6.) 7pm - dinner
7.) 8pm - desserts
8.) 10pm - burgers
9.) 12am - midnight snack
10.) 10am - breakfast

It's an annual tradition for the family and friends of the szabos. And always zoo much fun!

The second tradition of this weekend is the tour de Somerville. It's the oldest bike tour in the united states. The oldest at 66 years!! With only a 1.25 mi flat track, each group does multiple loops around and are all racing super close.

This is my first time here and I love it. I'd love to one at perhaps get a bike and do it one day? Haha well we'll see :-)

yeah, DC had motorcyclists, not bicycle cyclists.
