Couples

In honor of my favorite couple and their ridiculous anniversary, I'm writing about couples.

Today, I've seen four Asian couples walking around with the girls hands on the guys shoulders following the guy around the commuting areas. WTF if I ever turn into that Asian woman who can't get around so I just put my hands on my guy's shoulders and walk blindly following him, you all have permission to shoot me.

I'm going home late tonight because I was invited to sit in at the CESAA (Columbia Engineering School Alumni Association) meeting. The President of the organization, CL, was in the middle of running his meeting when his iPhone rang. He answered and was like, "I can't talk I'm running a meeting... No I am in a meeting... I can't talk..." I can only assume that it was his wife on the phone. But I found it interesting. My parents do that to each other. I've seen professors, teachers, managers all do that. Why not just ignore the call? Couples confuse me.

Finally, I love power couples. I some day hope to be a part of a power couple. (step one: become power... Step two: find a guy) they're so cute when you see them walking hand in hand towards a building, train etc. They look so powerful. The guy in his suit, the girl in heels. Well at least I think they're couples. They could just be a power affair. I'd settle for that right now tho :-)
